where do i put timing marks on a 1.9 liter diesel 1981 volkswagen rabbit
the timing marks on a rabbit diesel are on the fuel injection pump housing where it is bolted to the engine. there is one mark pump and a corresponding mark on the mounting surface. there are none on the crankshaft pulley. the relation to the engine and pump determine the injection timing.
