I have a 1995 Ford Explorer that will not stay running. I can get it started and then when I press on the gas it dies. I have had the fuel pump and filter replaced. It seems like it is running out of gas. Any suggestions?
There are many reasons that can cause your car to die out. Did you replace the fuel pump and filter recently and right afterwards the car acted this way? If so while replacing someone might have forgotten to connect one of the spark plugs. This can also indicate an electrical/fuse problem , see if one of them is burnt.
