I have a 1997 ford 150 ,failed emmisions yesterday because of check engine light bulb,how do you change the bulb?nothing in my manual,tryed calling ford,nothing mechanic wants 150.00to 180.00 to change it any advise out there?
Hello, you should be able to replace this light by removing your insterment panel, and some dash componits. Or if your real lucky, you might be able to reach up under the dash and figure witch light it is as to location of indicator on dash. last shot, ask your local smog person a few questions on location and what their doing after five, don't forget the beer...
