04 pontiac grand am .service engine soon light ...

04 pontiac grand am .service engine soon light came on when i was passing a vehicle up hill. one month later i had it diagnosed, the sensor was the #02. Now it wont start. last time it started, it was very loud and the engine shook the whole car! now it sounds like it will start, but it doesn't turn over.

If your light said "service engine soon", it probably has nothing to do with your present problems. The 'service engine soon' light is put there as a courtesy to remind you to service your auto in general. It does not mean that you have a problem.

Is the #02 mean the oxygen sensor? Did you have it replaced or did you ignore it? How does a car sound like it will start if it doesn't turn over? Sorry, just trying to clarify your question.
