My question involves auto tags residency.  I own a home in Mississippi. It is my state of legal residence. I work in Washington DC., and have a rental apartment in Virginia. I visit MS home (my wife and children live there) monthly. I claim MS as my state of residence. My car is titled and tagged in MS. Am I legal, or am I required to tag and title in Virginia?
