Since Gas is so expensive these days, why not offer the touring version in the US as an alternative to heavy, thirsty SUV's?
I agree with you completely. The problem is that people like the idea of having an SUV even if they aren't really using it for what it's meant for. I know it sounds ridiculous but that's the way it is. I hope people realize how much money they can save on a more economic car.
