if you have asthma, it can affect every facet of your daily life and make you wary of unfamiliar situations and activities. The good news is that, if properly managed, asthma does not have to prevent you from leading a healthy, active life. It doesn't have to negatively affect your quality of life. Here, you'll learn ways to help better control your asthma and help enjoy every day.

Another popular treatment for this discomfort is the inhaler. Instead of having to wait for a pill to take effect, these devices will give the lungs the medicine that they need in order for the individual to quickly breathe normally.

I've had asthma since I was a small child, and I've been fortunate enough to have fewer problems with it as I've gotten older. Asthma attacks can come on slowly or suddenly, and can be triggered by a number of different things, depending on the person. My attacks were brought on by allergies and physical activity, particularly in hot and humid environments. The attacks start with a tight sensation in the chest, and are followed by wheezing and further difficulty getting air into the lungs. As the attack progresses, breathing becomes very shallow and the tightness and uncomfortable feeling in the chest increases. I've learned to manage my asthma by learning what situations to avoid and recognizing the early signs of an attack.

Asthma attacks are absolutely horrible. It feels similar to an anxiety attack however the fear of not being able to breathe is a reality. It feels like your windpipe has collapsed and although you seem to be breathing, you do not feel any satisfaction or relief. It feels like the air is not going where it should be going and you are running out of oxygen. It is very scary and there are so many people who have had to deal with asthma their entire lives.

I found a website - www.healthremedies.com. They have a lot of useful information on asthma attacks and anxiety attacks. I have always used natural remedies for my asthma because I feel that they are way more rewarding for the body.
