Everything you know is wrong.
Due to a problem in my cellphone (LG VX8550), my provider (Verizon), or BitPim, I managed to corrupt the timestamp of hundreds of the JPEGs on my cellphone's camera. So now I would like to reset those timestamps - which are off by about ten years - to what's found in the JPEG's Exif data section, which hopefully is still accurate. Since I have lots of these JPEGs, I need a method that doesn't involve a lot of repetitive manual intervention; I don't want to spend the rest of the year on this project.
Rejected slogan #235:
Joe,
Both XnView and IrfanView should be able to do this. They are both free for personal use. I haven't tried doing this myself though - would be good to hear back from you if it worked :)
