My gut feeling is that the success of this kind of investment would very much depend on what you are selling - it's quantity not quality (I might be wrong) and that has a big impact on the overall performance UNLESS you are doing a branding exercise - a different ball game. I don't know about those specific companies, but the effectiveness of buying traffic depends on the kind of traffic you want to generate to your site.

Ususally the best trffic to attract to your site are focused searches via search engines or ones who come via links from relevant sites. When all those services promise a bulk of traffic they usually use spam methods (which can hurt your sites rankings on the search engine resaults) that generate a bulk of unrelevent surfers to your site. That means that you will maybe get a big number of surfers to your site but they won't be relevant and the propability of any of them becomming paying customers is low. It is better to optimize your site for the search engines and get less traffic but more focused traffic to your site.

You can try article marketing and get high quality backlinks from article directories. Make sure you use your keywords as your anchor text.

In SEO, more backlinks means higher ranking in the search engine placements.

I fully agree with Simon. I have used guarenteed traffic before and it all came from the same few websites.

Which means that they used a script to send the traffic to my sites. This was un-targeted and didn't generate ANY sale for me, which in fact means nothing but money lost.

i think Amazone is best for advertising purpose instead of that and there are many option is available in the market like affordable advertising, solo ads, traffic exchange, classifieds, banners and social bookmarking to increase traffic.

ok, buyhitscheap is just that, BUY hits.  I trully do not recommend it.  However, if you do want to get banner advertising it is not a bad way to go. Some high traffic sites will charge ONLY about 20-30 per space.  The second thing you can do is write articles to drive traffic.  This method produces long term results but you do have to learn how to do it the right way and you can follow the free article tutorial

Now you can also advertise in the forums, depending on what is your niche all about.  If these gifts are for parents, mothers, fathers etc.  More niche relevant, the better conversion your traffic will have.
