how long should you wait before covering a tattoo my tattoo is about 2 to 3 wks old

Do you mean covering or uncovering? Usually two weeks, after it heals is good enough to uncover it and tan.

What are you covering it with and why. If you are covering it to keep it out of the sun most anything comfortable will do. As long as it is completely healed there is no need to cover it when swimming just do not sunbath uncovered. as far as just clothing goes almost any time is ok after plazma is healed and it is kept moist with a &d ointment
