There may not be any excuses for why this guy treated you and your Family so badly.. maybe he is simply a creep and everyone knew it except you. This may not be of any consolation to you, or maybe it will, but one of the symptoms of advanced stages of HIV is deterioration of the brain cells! Honestly! It's almost like we find in animals infected with rabes! Certain people infected with the AIDS Virus (first) experience brain cell deteration.. they lose control of their natural healthy abilities of common sense, reasoning and judgement, they become wild and hateful, and often completely unpredictable. There are stories of people with AIDS in big cities like New York who spit at people walking by, on purpose!..chase people down and try to stab them with infected needles.. because they basically are going insane! It's just something for you to think about when your feeling down and confused about what this guy did to you, and why. It may not have a single thing to do with you! You can look up Symptoms of AIDS for yourself, and you will find what I am talking about.
You sound like a really cool person. Don't let this bizarre situation ruin your personality. Just remember that people with AIDS are very sick people, they are dying. It's so sad, I know, and you took a big risk by inviting him into your home and exposing him to you and your Children. I can't tell you how to live, no one can, but I have to say this.. unless you're a Nurse or a Doctor, and you know all there is to know about the AIDS Virus.. don't ever take the CHANCE that you and/or your children won't get AIDS from a carrier, especially one you hardly know who is living in your house!... it's a contagious deadly disease, and the death is lingering and excruciating.. and no one is exempt!
