Yedda - a brain the size of a planet.

Most of the

reports seem to agree that it's a 620 MHz ARM CUP. According to Gearlog, it's a Samsung S3C6400.

The brain in the iPhone (aka the chip) is an XScale processor, which was developed by Intel but sold to the Marvell Technology Group in June 2006. Intel Italy's general executive manager Dario Bucci said so in an

interview to the Italian business newspaper.
