Mail box is full. How can this happen?

Very simple: Every mail box has a capacity.... The capacity can be big or small (some have 3 GBits, some have 5 Mbits..... 7, 10, 20, 40 or more).  Now if the user gets & sends e-mails of large volumes and does it frequently he / she will "use" that available capacity..... and than it is "full".  By permanently deleting unnecessary files one can re-gain space.

AOL Mail provides "unlimited" storages - but to prevent us from misuse, you get this in "chunks". So after you used the first 500MB you have to manually "unlock" the next piece of storage by signing into either AOL Dekstop or webmail (http://webmail.aol.com).  

If you have an auto-managed aol.com mailbox (i.e. you see "New" and "Old" as tabs or folders rather than "Inbox"), your new mail is limited to 1000 items. If you wish to keep more than 1000 items, you can save this new mail to the Saved on AOL area which can hold an "unlimited" amount of mail.
