I have three round metal picture buttons with the inscription S. GEORGRJS. EQUITUM PATRONUS. The imprinted or stamped picture appears to be St. George spearing a dragon. The buttons are some kind of metal one inch in diameter. The back of the buttons has a metal loop hook, concave and has a small bit of rust. can anyone tell me the history of these buttons? Thank you. Daisy Salt-Ames at patcamz@yahoo.com
