Do you perhaps mean patina finish? If so patina is the look that copper or bronze takes on when it is exposed to outside elements. It most often takes on a bluish/green tint. Hope this helped.

Being an antique myself. I do have some knowledge on what you are asking. I have seen your questions about patina and antique trunks. From this I assume that you bought one that has a patina finish on it.

Without seeing the trunk or knowing who it was made by it is hard to give you a value. Unfortunately many hand crafters'  and wanna be antique dealers ruin truly great antiques by trying to make them look nice.

The value on your trunk is based on if you are happy with what you paid for it and if it fits into your decor and lifestyle.

Be happy with it and enjoy it.

Best wishes,

Tip
