I can see how you would be confused. Yedda is a Q & A site (question and answer). Blogging is different, like writing your own newspaper column and your readers get to write back. You don't have a blog, nor do you need widgits or anything special yet.
Once you get/create a blog or website, then you can add a Yedda widgit to it, which will allow people to directly ask questions from your page.
If you have Twitter, you can have everything you write in Yedda feed in as your tweets. These are all made up words, and I didn't make them up. Basically it's a way of updating anyone who follows you on your latest doings. I don't really know how useful any of these things are, but some people take them very seriously.
If you go to myspace.com, you can set up your own blog. If you go to twitter.com, you can set up your own RSS feed. Each site has a "help" section with FAQs, but you might have to take an online dictionary with you to understand some of the concepts when you run across unfamiliar words. They are both free sites.
