First ask yourself some questions:

1. What do I want to do with it (warm up stuff or cook stuff)?

2. What space do I have, how many people should it serve?

3. Do I want to do other things with it? (Grill or cook complete meals)?

I have no idea of where you live but here in Switzerland microwaves are so cheap that you can more or less buy the cheapest and try it out.

For the best solution go for size (no good if it won't accomodate your dishes), power (nothing less than 800Watts).

If you want to grill or brown your dishes go for one with a grill and if you want a fancy model go for one with digital programs.

In my experience you usually just heat stuff with it so keep it simple and cheap and you can't go wrong!

Help others. It's fun Smile

I'm sorry to tell you, but ther isn't a "best microwave".

But... you can find a microwave that is good for you with looking at the size and power of the microwave.

Another way is to look for the shopers opinion on shoping sites that you trust.

 Good day to you Smile

I would buy the ones that also have a grill, this way the food tastes better.

for example  Amana Microwave with Grill

Lately my experience is don't by cheap.  We bought a Sharp Carousel for $99.00 and it doesn't cook evenly.  In our old Microwave we could cook raw fish for 20 seconds and it would be done.  After 60 seconds in our new sharp the outside was done but the inside was still raw.   I will never by cheap again.
