The biggest list of people search engines I know of are listed at http://www.peopleferret.com/free-people-search.htm, however I just checked and there were not any of them that started with the letter "V" - sorry. The ones listed there are free so you'll still be OK. 

If you're looking for a list of hundreds of other search engines available out there on the Internet, some are people search related and others are specific to niche areas or web sites you can go directly to the search engine area listings at http://www.peopleferret.com/free-behemoth-search.htm

If you just want to go directly to a good (yep, and free) people search engine you can go to one of my favorites which is http://www.zabasearch.ws/.

P.S. Remember there are many other free people search type web sites out there besides the one that you mentioned started with a "V", it's just a matter of finding and then using them.
