Do allotments decrease the NCP's child support gross income calculation?

For determining Child Support Calculations for military personnel - Will setting up allotments drop a member's child support cost?

For example, base, pay, BAH, and BAS are considered gross income and is used as part of the child support pay determination; however, if there are allotments set up, does that affect the final calculated child support cost?

Of course not...they go off their gross income....allotments can be anything...I have an allotment going to a savings account each month...and if they are paying child support they are getting BAH diff.  Its half way between dependent BAH and single BAH...they get the extra money to offset the child support they are paying.  And if they make rank be sure to have the child support updated :-)
