Has anyone taken a tour with Aeon Tours in Paris? Also, how long is the normal wait at the Louvre? Do I really need to book a tour to skip the queue?
I took a tour with Aeon in January - it was gray and cold in Paris, but our tour guide was great. He offered us a lot of ideas as to how to best spend our time in the city (what tourist traps to avoid, etc) and recommended a restaurant that had the best duck I've ever had.
I was in Paris in November of last year and there was no wait. Only the Mona Lisa and other VERY famous works had a big crowd to get through to see close up. I went downstairs to the Mexican (for lack of a better term) exhibit and was the only one there.
