mrankens, I gave you 2 thumbs up (a first for me to hand out) to help make up for your lost thumbs. There are a lot of religious nuts out there, and I think they have cost me a hundred thumbs up or more, but I don't mind. I would like to be able to post my thumbs down as a badge of honor, because it means I'm not afraid to tell the truth (and we all know that the truth hurts). Don't let a few crackpots who call themselves "Christians" (but have no love for their fellow humans) get you down. The people who care about people think that you are doing good stuff here on Yedda. I, myself, wouldn't spend any time on you (or have you on my contact list) if I didn't think your opinions had value.
I generally ignore the thumbs ups and thumbs downs and focus on the many times people say thank you and tell me that following my advice has indeed helped them. That is one of the reasons I posted this particular question, so we answerers as a group could see some affirmation of our affect on the world. And we do have an affect. I know this for sure.
Probably your highest praise is something you never see, but if God works as you and dogbreeder think, it is all being recorded somewhere in a spiritual plane and will come back to bless you at a later date.
I have a list of questions I am watching because I think they need answers and I am not prepared at the time to answer them. At least once (maybe more) that I recall you have answered one of these questions and I was able to drop them from the list because I found your answer suitable. Which is high praise from me, but I don't tell anyone (I don't want you all to get swelled heads). Like I often say, I almost never give out thumbs up, and never have I given a thumbs down. Keep doing what you are doing and don't let a few crackpots bother you.
