Can I take the ACT's if I'm not in high school ...

Can I take the ACT's if I'm not in high school anymore? I didnt take them or the SATS in highschool because I knew I was going to a community college first, but even though I am now applying as a transfer some schools still need them, such as Duke university and other top notch school.
