How do I act around him when he comes into my work???

I work for a place that a man I just recently ended things with is a customer at. Where he is a customer, he calls and comes in to my workplace on a pretty much daily basis. I dont always see him when hes here but when he calls I answer the phones here. So, I pretty much cant get away from him or get him off my mind and vice versa. I keep it professional and answer the phones as if he is any regular customer that we serve and when I see him I will say hello. But how do I play it cool? I still really like him alot and I dont want him to think that I am pining over him and that I cant live without him and that Im desperate. I want him to see that I am moving on and forward, and Im not all wrapped up in him but yet I still would be with him in a heartbeat if things could work out for us.

How do I convey that, what are some tips/advice on what to say and how to act when I see/talk to him at work? To show him that I am moving on and not thinking about him but yet hoping that he will change his mind and give us another try? How do I best exude that strong confidence to show him that Im not missing him but he could still have me if he makes a move?

Do you know the difference between education and experience? Education is when you read the fine print; experience is what you get when you don't.

It might be difficult, but if you can just try to pretend that you never met and he is a stranger, like you said treat him as any other customer as if nothing has happened. Not sure what kind of work you are in, so I can't be real specific on how you could avoid dealing with him.
