The version u are using should work smoothly with youtube.
Simply play any youtube video and watch the small VA icon on your taskbar (3 color arrows). If the arrows start animating, it means your video stream is accelerating.
If it doesn't work, it probably means Video Accelerator has some trouble with your firewall security software.
BTW - are you using Vista or XP ?
