No day in which you learn something is a complete loss.

Using the video accelerator is simple. After installing, any video you play on a compatible site (like youtube) will be accelerated automatically. You don't have to do anything special, just make sure it's running in your system tray.

I can be altruistic. when it suits me.

The version u are using should work smoothly with youtube.

Simply play any youtube video and watch the small VA icon on your taskbar (3 color arrows). If the arrows start animating, it means your video stream is accelerating.

 

If it doesn't work, it probably means Video Accelerator has some trouble with your firewall security software.

 

BTW - are you using Vista or XP ?
