 What were the students I encountered who worked in the sex industry like? For the most part they were troubled girls with low self esteem and an extremely hostile attitude toward men. Im shocked that your "study" gave you those results. I work on a site with thousands of cam girls on it. Do you know half of them are married with children and very "normal" lives. Not one of them has a low self esteem problem and not one of them thinks negative towards men. In fact most of them are just your average joe trying to make a buck. I think we all need to also seperate the girls who do this on the internet and the girls who actually meet guys. You are so right.  Not every female in this industry is in it because they have low self esteme.  I'm in the industry also.  I'm what you call a distance domme and I do domination through phone and cam.  I feel better about myself now than before I started out in this industry.  I started out doing this to supplement my income because my rent, utilities, and even the price of gas skyrocketted in the last couple of years.  I then decided to do it full time because I could work for myself on my own terms.  Guess what, before going full time I would go to bed at night in pain and wake up in the morning still in pain and it got to the point I hated to leave my house to go to work.  It's been almost 2 years since I started full time and I don't have pain anymore and I'm not mentally and physically stressed out.  You have women of all ages, shapes, and ethnic  backgrounds doing this.  I'm 42 years old and I love what I do.  I make good money and I'm stress free and pain free.  I also have a news flash for some of you, women are not the only ones in this industry now.  All of the sites I work from have a section for men.  One of the sites that I work from also has a cam site with nothing but men on it.  There are a lot of men making money doing phone and cam, especially cam.  There are even some couples who work together in this industry.  It's not all barely legal teen girls.  There are the barely legal teen girls, mature women, milfs, bbw, and ethnic women as well as thousands of men in this industry.  The women out number the men of course but I've had several potential guest ask me how could they do what I do.  Open your eyes and stop being so judgemental.  Also a lot of these do gooders, saints, and people who are quick to pass judgement are some of our best clients.  Also ladies who are posting to this thread and passing judgement, don't bet on the fact that your husband/boyfriend, male friend, or male relative would never use our services because you would lose.
