I think most rules are getting WAY out of hand I know I'm an old timer but Life was worth alot more as we had the freedom to go out and enjoy ourselves if we had a problem with someone we either talked it out or fought like men with our hands and busted a nose or something now if you have a problem they just shoot the person like he wasnt worth anything .. I think most of these new life idiots who run the courts with the high priced lawyers are the biggest cause of our problems they let a a crook get away with murder because a cop called him or her a bad name ... so now with the new generation thye see that life is worth nothing so they do as they please they know they can get away with almost anything ....

change the courts and the idiots thay run them and put a actual law enforcment that can do what they are trained for build the prisons in the wate lands like deserts and let them actualy work and not form the gangs behind bars things would change

This whole thing with this case is way out of control. I'm glad the kid didn't have a sharpened  pencil. He would have landed in a hardended prison. What king of idiot principal would even allow this to get out of control. I would prefer his mother be called to come pick up the kids spoon and fork gadget and let it go at that.

I think it is past time that we as people use some COMMON SENSE!!! I live in Newark and am absolutely appaled that a full grown adult could not see that this was just a kid who wanted to use his new utensil to eat lunch.

But then Christiana school district (two of my children attended) has never been particularly sharp. And as far as 'not discriminating'. That is total rubish. My daughter was repeatedly touched and fondled by a black student and he was never punished, because he denied the actions. I am glad that this resulted in a change in policy but it is a shame that this young boy had to endure this treatment.

How old is that kid and why does he feel the need to bring a knife to school?
