I played basketball for a long time, including some college hoops. this is nuts, though. i'll tell you an experience i remember. the other team had the ball, inbounding it after we made it, and they passed it in, but the receiver was called for being out of bounds, because his foot was on the baseline. that's pretty obvious, i think.
now, if a player takes the ball from the ref, and then another player comes up and they switch places, after a bucket is made, and the ball is live...... i want to say that is illegal.
