Yes, Time Warner/AOL acquired Yedda... I'm confused why you think it should say AOL all over Yedda though.

Because, I don't trust everything that comes to me unbidden over the Internet?

Do you?

Doing so is setting your course for disaster, don't you think?

The Pentagon gets hit with some 2 million viruses a hour. We all are fending off bogus sites and all kinds of hostile traffic. We are at war, virtually and in reality, are we not?

I am surprised you would not deduce that this site needs to clearly state its ownership.

Yedda has:

-A 5,498 Alexa ranking http://alexa.com/siteinfo/yedda.com

-A Google pagerank of 7

-1,200,000 pages indexed in the Google search engine http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:yedda.com

It's whois showed clearly it's owned by AOL and has been registered since 2005. http://whois.domaintools.com/yedda.com

Didn't even take 30 seconds to look this up and it's all showing the site is a high traffic. legit, and popular site.  If you're still concerned with internet security, don't use a log in that matches a bank account log in and use a secure browser with an anti-virus.

The only people it would help putting "AOL" all over the site would help is those who know very little about the internet and have conspiracy theories about websites stalking them and they feel the name "AOL" is "safe".
