Yedda Widget

How do I incorporate Yedda widget to my blog which is hosted by wordpress, as I cannot access the coding page (blogger allows this but not wordpress)?

Rejected slogan #235:

Yedda - a brain the size of a planet.

Hi,

While you can easily add the Yedda widgets to a WordPress blog hosted on your server, adding them to a blog hosted on wordpress.com is not very well supported at this point, since wordpress.com does not allow JavaScript.

A temporary solution would be to hack something with the WordPress Text widget and an IFrame, the best would be to create a native set of Yedda widgets for WordPress.

We'll get to it soon I hope (unless someone else will beat us to it -  any takers? Smile).

I think Yaniv gave a pretty good answer , but youmight want to contact the WP.com guys.

Maybe they'll be able to hack something quickly.

Web Two Point OohhhYeahhh .

Javascript is disabled by default on wordpress.com blogs because of the recent javascript mass that happend in myspace and live journal. For enabling javascript widgets on wordpress.com you can contact wordpress.com staff and after review you can become a trusted partner. Its best to check in the javascript if its disabled andfallback to iframe for example.  You can also use Flash .swf and use crossplateform xml to draw the content from yedda into the flash.

like flickr is doing, and like i did for pixpulse.com widget.

Thanks guys. Your suggestions are too technical (other than contacting WP). I will leave this for the time being. Let me know if you find away.
