Xerox copier drum: Can you clean & reuse instead of buying new?
How to refurbish Xerox copier drum? I emptied the drum of all the dry ink & put back together. It works fine in the copier, but still shut off at 12,000 copies. How does the copier know if the drum is new or not and how many copies are left for that particular drum. Is there a way to reset the machine's count of copies for drum use?
