A:

You are so very true! I'm 48 and been taking xanax for along and very painful time, did'nt know how bad I got till I completely lost about 2 weeks of memory and put my husband and kids through hell! You do things that you would never do sober, it's a bad addiction and hard to come off of. My life got worse and your deppresssion gets more insane and parinoid thinking! it ends up intensifying the effects of your panic and deppression, i litterly thought i was going insane and wanted to go in a hospital for the insane and by the grace of god i found the right counseling and she knew right away were to direct me to get help!! It's not anything to take lightly or alittle of, just don't ever go there!!! I know now that I can deal with my life without anything and all though life is just plain hard and uncomfortable at times, I'm managing with the help and hope of others that it's ok to feel and go through it without anything!! I'm still alive and lucky I made it alive and even though I caused more damage and hurt to myself and my husband and kids, my pain now is so much less then the pain I was in with the xanax and drinking and I'm handling it one day at a time with no regrets, I'm really living proof of the bad insane thinking that xanax and drinking can cause and without going into all the detail manage to get myself out before it was to late!! So please, don't think that just even a few times works or you can handle it, thats a big myth as far as i,m concerned its just not reality and people really don't understand how dangerouse xanax is!!!

just my feelings and thoughts!!!!!!

wenny
