He had an extramarital affair and as a result he stepped down from all ministry. Be in prayer for Terry and his family during this difficult time.

I praise the Lord that His callings are without repentance. I praise the Lord that His mercy endures forever. I praise the Lord that He is the Redeemer. If we were perfect, we wouldn't need a Savior.   He redeems all the messes we make if we turn to Him. And He will redeem everything for Terry Macalmon and his family and all his loved ones. From one who was lifted up by our Lord and Savior after falling.

Unfortunately his personal life has unhorsed his spiritual journey, do keep him in your prayers...

Terry MacAlmon Steps Down From Ministry

Worship leader Terry MacAlmon announced in May that he was stepping down from ministry after having had an extramarital affair. "I don't have a timeline as to if or when I will return to ministry, but I know I cannot go forward with my soul in this condition," MacAlmon wrote in a letter to ministry supporters. His wife, Greta, said she planned to file for legal separation, saying counseling and a restoration process had failed. "At this time Terry has chosen to leave his family, these [counseling] relationships, and the ministry," she said, adding that she believes MacAlmon will one day be restored.

I'am saddened by the news of this as I have gone to the Worship Conference in the past and listen to this wonderful ministry.  This music has forever changed the way I had worshipped our Lord.  It has opened up a greater experience in worship with the Holy Spirit.  It is truly annointed by God.  Temptation is always among us and we all have strengths and weaknesses. We have to be alert at all times, its easy to say I know but with God all things are possible.  Fleeing from temptation is hard, but it is the eternal things we have to remember to focus on.  The flesh is ju
