When I checked Terry's website I first was shocked to learn of his resignation. He is a wonderful servant of the Lord and called to an awesome ministry. And now it is in the grace of God to deal with Terry, not in ours. Our place is to help and support a brother in need with our prayers. I admire Terry's move to openly confess his sin in his newsletter - when the adversary attacks you, the best you can do is to tell on the ugly dude and take the wind out his sails.
Terry's decision to step back (and obviously seek the Lord for restoration) is the correct thing to do. Even if we won't be able to enjoy his wonderful music for a time. I strongly believe that Terry will be back, better than ever. You can't do your job for the Lord when you're not right with Him.
God promises us in His Word that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and I believe that He will get Terry back on his feet standing strong! He allows things to happen in our lives so we can overcome and help others with similar problems. He is not going to let His servant Terry down!
In these days the true Body of Christ must stand together and support each limb against the snares of the enemy. We are created to love and worship the Lord; let's do what we can do and lift our brother up in prayers before the throne!
