Re: Worship leader Terry Macalmon

Does anyone know why Terry Macalmon resigned from his own ministry?  He's an amazing worship leader.

"Ruach" is the Breath of God! I would like to remind you of what He writes in His book; "Judge not that you may not be judged!"

Your answer is fleshly and out of place!

Men stumble and even fall, and it is in the grace of God to forgive! Do you know if Terry has repented of his sin? Do you know anything about Terry's personal walk with the Lord to judge his personal problems?

Think about this before you post another comment like this!

When I checked Terry's website I first was shocked to learn of his resignation. He is a wonderful servant of the Lord and called to an awesome ministry. And now it is in the grace of God to deal with Terry, not in ours. Our place is to help and support a brother in need with our prayers. I admire Terry's move to openly confess his sin in his newsletter - when the adversary attacks you, the best you can do is to tell on the ugly dude and take the wind out his sails.

Terry's decision to step back (and obviously seek the Lord for restoration) is the correct thing to do. Even if we won't be able to enjoy his wonderful music for a time. I strongly believe that Terry will be back, better than ever. You can't do your job for the Lord when you're not right with Him.

God promises us in His Word that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and I believe that He will get Terry back on his feet standing strong! He allows things to happen in our lives so we can overcome and help others with similar problems. He is not going to let His servant Terry down!

In these days the true Body of Christ must stand together and support each limb against the snares of the enemy. We are created to love and worship the Lord; let's do what we can do and lift our brother up in prayers before the throne!

THIS IS A QUOTE FROM HIS TERRY MACALMON MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL. I think it is the best way to answer the question at this point.  These are his own words.

Excerpted from TMMI mailing list:

To The Ministry Friends of TMMI,

I bring you greetings in the faithful name of Jesus. I trust His love for you is felt today in your heart. Because of your connection with our organization, it is necessary that I bring you an update on current news.I am on a sabbatical from ministry this year, as directed by my board. The reason for this is because I have stumbled in my Christian walk and been unfaithful in my marriage. This has caused many repercussions as you can imagine. At this point in time, I find it necessary to totally step down from ministry and just take one day at a time. I covet your prayers as I seek God's healing for my troubled soul. I am so sorry if I have disappointed you. Please forgive me. I never meant to hurt anyone, but when we take our eyes off the Lord, the enemy knows where to attack us. I may have lost a battle, but am confident of the King's victory in winning the war. I am His…now and forever. Your Friend,

Terry MacAlmon

it has been discovered that he has been committing adultery and has left his wife.  This is the reason for him stepping down.
