Simple answer to your question is, yes there is help! We have been helping people overcome pornography world-wide for over 20 years. What you need to understand is how the addiction works. Go to http://www.innergold.com/pptVideo.cfm, we explain how pornography affects the brain. Once you understand the addiction, you can start to control it.

Triggers for watching porn are: Boredom, Loneliness, Anger, Stress and Tired, we call it B.L.A.S.T.. When a person is in any of these states, which is quite frequent, their brain goes into survival mode and trys to help them relax. The person addicted has trained their brain to use pornography as a survival mechanism to help them relax. Hence, their brain thinks they have to have it to relax or they will not be able to survive.

Watch the video I mentioned above and gain a better understanding. After you have watched it, apply some of the principles we talk about and a person can start to gain sobriety. Our treatment system is something you can do in home, in private. If you need additional help, we also offer phone counseling.

Very important to separate, "IT" (the addiction) from the person. IT wants to watch porn, not the person. People who are struggling with sexual addiction issues, want to stop but just can't.

Wish you the best!

Porn addiction is like any other addiction. He needs to first admit he has a problem and then get help for his problem. He would need intense therapy, 1 on 1 and group counseling, meetings, etc. This is not something that can be resolved overnight but with a lot of help and some time he can overcome his addiction.

Porn addiction needs professional treatment. First, get your partner to accept that addiction exists. If that is easy, I believe the remaining steps are easier to overcome. It is advisable to talk to experts as well. Refer RecoverConnection.org for information on porn addiction and treatment options.
