I know whats the world's widest river - but what is the deepest one?

Interesting question. I searched google for the answer, and it was undeceive - the nile, the amazon, the lost river in Bowling Green. But I found the answer on the NASA website - it is Yangtze river in china, which is 150 meters deep.

Deepest River = YANGTZE River in China = 492 feet, from surface to deepest point

Lake Baikal is deep but is not "deepest of anything" as someone said. Lake Baikal is a mile down, but the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean is 6 miles down...
