Interesting question. I searched google for the answer, and it was undeceive - the nile, the amazon, the lost river in Bowling Green. But I found the answer on the NASA website - it is Yangtze river in china, which is 150 meters deep.

I'm pretty sure it's the Yangtze river in china. It is also known as the longest in asia, of course.

Tiger Leaping Gorge on river Yangtze river in China is one of the deeper gorges in the worl. Its NOT the deepest.

The river " Kali Gandaki " in Nepal is attributed with the world's deepest gorge.

The deepest river in the world is probably the Green River of Kentucky, USA. I don't think that anyone has yet managed to measure its depth at it deepest point.

You guys go on about the deepest river, but the deepest Lake is Baikal, in Siberia, and it is the deepest of anything, so they say.  It has fresh water sea lions and dolphins and seals swimming in it, and it has geothermal activity that stirs it, making it an oxygenated deepest lake.

It is having some environmental problems, tho. Some hotshot idiots are polluting it- there are no standards in place; they haven't even circumnavigated it with a walking trail- I mean I don't think anyone has been all the way around it yet-- they have volunteer trailblazing camps.  I'd love to go, when my baby gets bigger  Laughing
