World Cup in South Africa

In your opinion, will South Africa be ready and able to host the FIFA soccer World Cup in 2010?

45 thumbs up

Although there were a couple of shortcomings that were exposed lately like:

Cuts in Cape town's electricity supply, the broadcast interface which is old, public transportation and more. I think it is just groups which are wishing the games were played at their country like Australia who are exposing these problems. Same thing happened in Greece in the Olympic games and apparently  everyone was wrong. South Africa will be ready the minute the money will start flowing from all the commercial companies everything will be fine.

Work hard or go home.

Of course! As soon as the money comes, everything will fall into place and the World Cup 2010 will be amazing to watch.

103 thumbs up

I enjoy using Yedda to ask and answer medical questions. I previously worked as a nurse but am now based from home - having just completed a long spell of breast cancer treatment.

Life has also been busy lately after the arrival of our new puppy called poppy. She's a black labarador retriever and drives us all crazy at times but we just adore the buzz she brings to the house. Last week she caused me a shoulder injury by tugging when out walking - but I can forgive that for the fun she brings.

Last month my husband invested in the Resperate device for lower blood pressure - and boy is it effective?

Yeah - I'm sure they will

Even if it looks like they are behind progress at the moment, these things have a way of all falling into place as the event gets closer
