Hey guys, I have ambitions of finishing up my BA in social sciences withing 2 years and then I want to get my masters via the peace corps master program in international relations so I guess that would take me an additional 3 years, one of academic course work and then 2 years of volunteering service abroad (I would be about 35- 36 by then as I went back to college late).
My question is, how difficult is it to get a job within the peacecorps? Are they extremely strict or competitive?
I dont have much "work" experience but I have spent a couple years studying and backpacking abroad and gained fluency in a couple foreign languages.
So can anyone give me suggestions? Or recomendations? I will be meeting a recruiter in a couple weeks but any volunteered expertise would be greatly apreciated!
Also, for anyone who worked or works for the peacecorps, how do you like it?..Please share your experience, I would love to hear about it....Thanks everyone!
