Just plain want to know what the word Gura means.
Thanks
Where did you read or hear this word? It can mean different things, especially in different languages.
I work for a company making bronze plaques. One of the plaques was for a Holicost survivor and the word appeared in her name and after the names of some of her relatives. It appeared after her first name and after the last name of the relatives.
Perhaps "Gura" refers to Gura Humorului, an area from which about 3000 Jews were deported in 1941. Most of them were killed or otherwise died by 1944. (List of Holocaust Victims from Gura Humorului)
