Wool tabagon

how to wash wool

Is there any hope ? I put a beautiful hand made all wool hat in the clothes dryer by mistake, now it looks like it would fit a doll, the way it shrunk.

Do you have any suggestions how to stretch it back? I tried washing it again(by hand) in cold water and putting it over a vase, but no luck
