Does anyone remember the novelette about Archie, the cockrouacj and Mehetabel, the cat? I would like to know the name of the author. It must have been published in the early 1950-s or prior.

I read "Archy and Mehitabel" when I was in junior high (years ago) and remember it quite well. The author is Don Marquis.
