Love is the battery of life....

Wonderfull insight - wish to read your comments.

A close friend wrote to me today: "most people think that they have to find their love only few know that very often one has to create one's love".   That insight made me think for hours..... So true and so simple..... One of the smartest insights I met in recent years..... I would like to share it with you and read your smart comments.....
Best regards,

Are we talking about the person whom we love or the emotion itself?

I think that created love is manufactured love, and that is acting.  Finding love is searching for something that hasn't presented itself, and that is desperation.  Accepting love that is presented to you is real, and if reciprocated, is true.  I have known many people in my life that were wonderful people in every way, but I simply did not love them.   It didn't matter how hard I tried or how much effort I put in.  I could not create that emotion.  Love has a life all it's own, and I don't believe that it is something we have any control over.

Fool me once,

shame on you!!

Fool me twice,shame on me!

hmm, that can be true,but..no matter how you create a love,if the other person isn't responding then, you created a love for nothing..

but on the other hand, when you find a love, one that is responding to your love, then you can create an even better love!

hugs!

Be honest and be true to yourself.

Loving someone is a personal decision or a choice.  One creates  in his/her mind the idea of the person one wants to be with.  Love is never an accident.  It is a conscious effort of the psyche to develop a pleasant feeling for another person.

Sorry, DB, I don't buy it.  Maybe we have different ideas about what true love is.  I cannot manufacture a feeling for someone with no qualities that I value.  I hear people say all the time that they love everyone, but they would not give their life for just anyone or even a $20 dollar bill.  They think that caring is love, and I don't think they are the same emotions at all.  I can care for, accept, understand, almost anyone, but that doesn't mean that I actually love them.

Trust no one and Respect is earned not given!!!!

The only way I know how to create Love is to have a child.. Then I have created someone I can Love..But to create a Love between a man and a woman ..No U can not make your self fall in Love with someone ...There has to be something there in the first place.. U can not create true Love ..
