Wonder goals in football

The greatest ever goal I've ever seen was not a goal of unusual skill or technique, but it is nevertheless the most memorable goal I've ever seen, and without a doubt the goal that caused me the greatest pleasure. I'm talking about Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer winning goal against Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions' League Finals. The goal has no special "aesthetic" value, but to a United fan, it's just perfect.

Diego Armando Maradona's goal against England in the 1986 world cup. The apparent ease with which he passes all the defenders is amazing.

Two of my most memorable goals were scored in the same game by the same player. Maradona's goal against England where he passed all the defenders to score was spectacular but in the same game he had a goal I'll never forget. His "Hand of God" goal handed England a painful loss. It wasn't a really special goal but it is memorable thanks to the controversy  behind it.

What about Michael Owen's goal against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup?

no no.  Hands down the greatest goal in football history was by Argentina vs Mexico in the 2006 World Cup in overtime.  It was amazing, check it out on youtube
