I'm curious to know opinions out there regarding woman's rights and whether or not you think that woman have perhaps, in some cases, taken "liberty" too far?
For instance, women had no real rights until very recently, given history altogehter. So, at first, it was a truly remarkable thing to get voting rights and evenutally, equality in the work place. Now, however, don't you think that many have taken it byond what was intended?
I.E.: Sexual revolution gave us freedom over our bodies to act as men do...however, now we have even more frequent casual sex, STD instances are up, abortions are up and woman are more and more sexualized everywhere we look. I'm not saying our place is only in the home and abiding ONLY what our husbands say without our opinion, but do you think we may have taken our independent role too far? Perhaps, we're right back at the beginning...men want us physically, but are even less likely to fully commit...after all, why buy the cow when you get the milk for free, as the old saying goes.
Thoughts on this? As a woman, I am curious to know the general consensus out there.
