Woman in Italy held Captive for Illegal Child

What's going on with the

world?
Another case of a woman being locked up by her family, this time it's in Italy. A woman was locked up for 18 years for having a child out of wedlock.
Now the police is investigating the child, who lived with the grandparents all the time (he's 17). Do you think he's in any way to blame? Is there something he could have done?

Are u kidding me are we still living in the stone ages. Men have been having children out of wedlock for years. Even in the Bible , Koran an Torah. It's okay for men to do these things. But when women do them it's a double standard. This poor women has been riped away from her family and children because she cheated on her husband. I'm pretty sure she had a good reason. Now Italy wants to investigatte the child.Italy has nothing better to do. I can't believe that we live in an era that you go to jail for cheating on your husband in Italy. I thought Italy was small not small-minded.

You can swim all day in the sea of knowledge, and never get wet.

Dont know the whole story, but i am sure alot of that goes on, and maybe they never told the child, or he was scared. Not sure
