NetGear default admin access is http://192.168.1.1/start.htm.
Try to connect to the router using a cable.
check the settings and make sure that you have the relevant access rights (in case you are using WEP or restricted IP access list).
Then go wireless and see if you can connect.
the next step will be to make sure that your router knows how to 'dial' to your network provider (in order to access the internet for example). if this was not set within the router, you may need to reset it using your computer.
