Thanks doralin, I was also wondering what is the most prestigious contest that a red wine can win. Aren't there some contests that measure the quality of the wine?
I don't know any contest that measures the quality of an old wine, but there's The International Wine Contest which gives awards to best wines every year in 6 categories.
