I'm invited to a dinner this Thursday, and it's going to be an Indian meal. I usually bring wine with me, but I don't know if wine goes well with Indian food -- although I must admit I know very little about Indian food. Should I bring wine, and if so, which one?
Thanks in advance.

French wines specially created to accompany Indian cuisine.
Spicey foods including Thai and Indian foods are very well paired with slightly sweet , crisp white wines to "cut" the pyrotechnics of the spicey foods. My favorite recommendations are: Vouvray (slightly sweet), reislings, gerwesteimieiners and LATE HARVEST muscadet/reislings. Indian food is also very well paired with Argentinian reds such as a full-bodied Malbec.
It is more appropriate to bring Indian dessert.

Normally, I would have beer with curry, but red wine tends to go well I like something aromatic like Torres' excellent Vina Esmeralda
Mirza Ghalib Wines are French wines ( Red, Rosé & White) specially created to accompany indian dishes.
I think yous hould bring some desert or cakes because wine are not match Indian tradition.
