When I shut the wipers off, they stop "stuck up", instead of going back down. If I get out and manually push them down, when I turn them back up, they stop "stuck up" again. They did this two other times before, and several days later, when I turned them on, they went back down. Is this an easy fix or will this be expensive to repair?

Off the top of my head I'd say it's the switch ($100 - $200 for the part alone) What is the year, make and model of your car?
There may be an easy fix. with the wipers stuck in the up position, pull the wiper arms off the stub shafts and reinstall in the down position. then they will stop where you want them to stop.
Can't be done?????????????? Screw you , jump in the mud and i will show you how.
The blades will usually stick up when you turn the engine off, normally they go thru the rotation cycle, if you turn them off at the control
